If I could give 0 stars I would. Literally the most incompetent property owners around. Only try to get as much money out of you as possible. They're a huge joke. They sent my roommate a complete stranger's social security info because they got their last names mixed up. A cabinet door fell off in our kitchen, and we discovered it was never in place from move in. Water from our dish washer back flows up into the sink. They advertise (and you pay for) air conditioning and heat, but they fail to mention that they are on based on the season, and you have no control over when you get AC or not. No regulation on loud bass speakers that make the surrounding apartments vibrate. The only good thing I can say is that maintenance actually responds within a 48 hour period (if you can reach them). Place was disgusting when I arrived last year, multiple things broken, and plenty of other problems. My roommate and I didn’t make a big deal out of this issue until the end of the year when we had gotten slammed with over $800 in fees. $500 was for a door that had been broken; this door was the thinnest door I have ever seen, can assure you that it was not much stronger than cardboard. Something so cheap is prone to break in a short period of time and charging $500 is just sickening and not the right thing to do. I could’ve gotten a nice door and put it on myself for under $100, as I had even offered. Nope, they are a selfish company that is just looking for a couple extra bucks in their pocket. I never waste my time with reviews but this place had screwed me and my roommate over. Please

They sold me an apartment with no windows or sunlight. They did everything they could to stop me from seeing that converted closet. Was not worth the discount in retrospect. Worst semester I've had renting. Do not give these heartless people your business.

I have lived at 5 Dennison road/the coops for the past two years and I have previously wrote 2 reviews updating my experiences with Golden Goose. The Bad: I signed my lease in October of 2016, the lease ran from June 10th 2017 to May 18th 2018 however by September 25th 2017 I had to resign my lease for the following year otherwise if I decided to stay after that date and did not sign again the rent would go up $100 a month. This applies to tenants every year. Wifi/cable and electricity is not included. Car parking is $675 a semester and $400 for the summer. So a total of $1750 a year... Here's the catch... nothing- when paying that much you would think they would wash your car for you, change your oil or even some 'common sense' landlord stuff like plowing the parking lot. Company with a lot of double standards. They have rules prohibiting tenants from allowing guests in without them there, although I had problems with the maintenance guys letting people in my apartment who didn't even live there. Also got charged money for not cleaning my bathroom well enough when I moved out, but when I moved in the drains were clogged etc. The only person of contact for the company is a lady who could care less about what the tenants think. Very poor customer service. ((Never even heard back about what was up with the maintenance guy doing that.))
