The Macdonald Property Management Company is the worst company I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They brazenly ignore the law and the rules outlined in their own lease. Some of these offenses include entering my and other tenants’ apartments without permission or prior notice and refusing to schedule any kind of maintenance or making you pay out of pocket. They’ve threatened legal repercussions with no just cause and they’ve consistently tried to take advantage of people who are not versed in rental state laws. These wrongdoings and many more have occurred with me and plenty of other tenants in town. Where do I begin... At first they were nice. Fast forward about 2 months where we kindly requested a repair for water damage from ice dams. We sent 4 certified letters and at least 15 emails requesting the repair. Nothing. I called about 4 months ago (after living there for a year and a half) and requested my faucet fixed. The wife demanded that I fix it, and I immediately said no. Common sense says if you don't own it, don't touch it. She proceeded to scream at me and refuse to send someone. Shopping for a home in Tewksbury but definitely won’t be going to MacDonald. They are flying a divisive Trump flag from their sign rather than a unifying USA flag. They have kept me away as a customer for good.
