As resident of MAA Cornelius for now 3 years, being a previous renter with a background in this industry I must say that I didn’t not imagine “old fashion” customer service and professionalism still existed. This team thoroughly exceeds my expectations. Patrice is the Senior Assistant at this community, on multiple occasions she has gone above and beyond. She is very empathic, an over communicator to ensure understanding while always keeping the customers needs first. Sam the leasing consultant is always attentive, greeting each person walking through the door with a smile. He is always willing to give assistance to any situation that he can with no hesitation. Alicia is also a leasing agent and her kind and supportive nature is shown when challenges come her way. She is decisive and a

Thank you to Donna! She was so pleasant and helpful from the first moment. Even though she was busy on the phone when we came in for our tour, she turned it around so fast and gave us such a positive experience. She’s also very knowledgeable of the area and went above and beyond to answer our questions. Even if we don’t end up leasing here, Donna is great!!

Jasmine was wonderful and extremely helpful. She was kind and helped me through my first time getting an apartment. Extremely respectful and helped calm my nerves.

I wish I could give 0 stars to this place. I would never recommend this apartment community. From day one, my unit was crawling with roaches, green flies and reeked of marijuana. I reported it immediately, but pest control didn’t show up for nearly 3 weeks — and only after multiple follow-ups. Even then, the roaches never went away, and I had to spend my own money on traps and bait just to manage the infestation. When I gave 45 days’ notice that I would not renew, Sam told me he would enter it into the system — but later Patrice admitted it was never entered. Instead of owning their mistake, they told me I’d be billed through October 18 because I didn’t give “60 days’ notice,” even though my lease clearly ends October 1, 2025.
