I recently inquired about a one-bedroom apartment at Lynnewood Gardens, and my initial experience was very positive. Iris, the leasing agent, was extremely helpful, responsive, and answered all of my questions right away. My partner and I were impressed enough to submit an application before even touring. However, the application process quickly took a disappointing turn. Our application was denied solely due to what they stated was a “criminal record.” For transparency, the only thing on my record is a summary non-traffic citation (disorderly conduct) from 2021—not a misdemeanor or felony, no arrest, no fingerprints, and something I’ve had no issues with when securing employment or state licensure. Ms.Camille Quinnones is a Gem! Her beautiful personality is everything! She brings so much warmth and joy to the events at Lynnewood Garden Apartments. We always have a great time. It is clear that she is professional and thorough with the planning and execution of all the projects. She also puts so much heart and love into whatever she does! Horrible touring experience My boyfriend and I came to tour this during the weekend, it looked nice in the photos and price wise it was in our range. We walked into the leasing complex and was greeted by a nice woman working the front desk. Our tour guide, I wish I could say the same, did not greet us in a professional manner. She didn’t introduce herself nor did she say hello. She asked if we were there for a tour and then asked for paperwork for my service animals since I had that information on my tour documents. I did not bring them because we were there to tour, not apply immediately. We started touring and off the bat she felt short with us, stating “I am assuming you want to see the amenities”, and proceeded to just… point at them. Didn’t really let us look. I am beginning my third year here and continue to love all aspects of it, from the care given to the grounds and its appearance, to the community events, to the pleasant and helpful people in Resident Services. Maintenance is quick to respond and does their work efficiently, cleanly, and quickly. Jen in Maintenance continues to be exemplary in prioritizing requests, scheduling, and follow up. And, of course, the amenities are off the charts. I look forward to living here for a long while.
