If negative stars were possible, I’d give Lumen -10. Don’t be misled by the glowing 5-star reviews — my experience was the complete opposite. Management is dishonest and will charge you for normal wear and tear after you move out.. The front staff (with the exception of Carina) are rude and act inconvenienced whenever you need assistance! Security is virtually non-existent — there are homeless people frequently inside and outside the property, the garage gate barely functions (my car was broken into and ransacked), and the service elevator has been out of order for nearly a year. We had the apartment professionally cleaned for move out and their so-called “itemized list of issues” is a joke — I have clear video and photo proof taken right after the cleaning that shows otherwise. On multiple occasions, we were kept waiting and then asked to return another day, even though she was not assisting anyone else at the time. The interactions often felt dismissive and unwelcoming. There have also been instances where comments were made after residents left, which came across as unprofessional and inappropriate. As residents who pay a significant amount in rent each month, we expect respectful and fair treatment. We have lived at Lumen for the past three years, but unfortunately, we are now planning to leave due to the ongoing rudeness and lack of professionalism from certain staff members.
