Let me start off by saying this place don’t even deserve a star, but you have to put a star to write a comment. This place is very unprofessional. There was nobody inside the office when you need someone to be there. The maintenance people was very friendly until something got broken Then they want a piece of things together. I am leaving this review because this place is too much money for a person to live like this. Check out the photos. The AC unit broke it was leaking. There was roaches everywhere. There was water everywhere and they would like for you to pay almost $2000 I recommend no one stays at this place. Took a chance on moving here despite the bad reviews and man did I make the wrong decision. I’ve lived in over 5 different apartments complexes in Orlando and have always been approved for multiple ESA animals. The “UDR” team made me jump through hoops to pay for extra documentation for them just to decline at the end. Instead of charging a pet deposit fee I could receive back when I move out they charge an “additional fee” of over 1 thousand dollars that is no refundable as well as a $90 monthly pet rent fee. This company just wants money in any way they could receive it. Upon my first night moving in my AC was broken which is a nightmare in Florida’s summer heat, and the washer machine flooded the entire apartment on night 2. DON’T RENT HERE!! The office is never “available” even though there is a person in the office sometimes, I have had my property stolen and thrown out by staff (Got them on camera taking my items and I have text threads of them admitting it), and I have had the head maintenance guy scare the crap out of me by walking into my apartment without knocking or giving notice. (I also have texts confirming that he did that) This place wouldn’t be bad if the property staff actually cared, but because UDR (the parent company) is based in Colorado they get away with horrible attitudes and bad service. In the past year we have had at least 7 people move in and move out of our building alone, so don’t waste your hard earned money by renting here. Very quiet and nice complex, close to a lot of good schools, stores and restaurants in Altamonte Springs.

I normally don’t take the time to leave reviews, but this place deserved an exception. The rent is okay if you’re a new college graduate or otherwise can’t afford someplace better. It’s about as cheap as you can get for a 1/1 around here without it being a dump or risking getting shot. The units themselves are an okay size for 1 person, although the $/sqft is higher than a lot of 1/1’s around Orlando. If you can’t find another place, then Lotus Landing is alright as a final option. The pool is nice, I’ll give them that. But that’s the end of the positives. As for the bad… paper-thin walls. You will hear constant yelling and screaming, rap/salsa music, dogs yelling like they’re in pain, etc. ASPD squad cars are in the parking lot probably 2 nights a week.
