Londontowne and Robinwood Apartments

I have rented at Londontowne Apts for 5 years. I find it a wonderful, safe place with friendly and helpful neighbors. Management has always been polite. Maintenance has always done an excellent job of repairing any issues I have had in a timely manner. Yes, there is new management; and we are adjusting to new guidelines and potential rent increases. This is across the board in all housing, not just at Londontowne. I plan to remain for some time.

I wish I could give this place zero stars ⭐️ I’m pissed because I have a flat tire and these people decided they wanted to leave a notice on my vehicle saying it will be towed. I work the night shifts (12hrs) I’m tired when I get home in the mornings. Today is my first day off. Usually I would get my vehicle towed to my mechanic guy in Frederick, but he was on vacation. I got in this morning around 7:30 am and I had to go back to my job at 1:30pm for mock code training, when I got outside at around 1:10pm that was when I saw the 24hrs notice. I’m not even sure how long since it’s been on my vehicle. I haven’t slept since yesterday, a whole 24hrs and I have to be up making sure that they don’t tow my vehicle. Anyways I contacted my mechanic guy and he said I can get it tow to the shop. So

I have been living here for almost 5 years and have had no concerns at all until now. They stopped online payments and now is only by check or money orders plus the webpage has been deactivated. I called for maintenance and they said they will be coming the next day and that did not happen. Then I went to the office last week and the person there said she would take care of that immediately and still no one has come. I asked for the contact to repair the carpet at my cost and they said they would take care of it and that did not happen either. My work schedule is tough to go the office and I really don’t know what else to do to get my problems fixed. I really like living here.

Called for replacement for smoke detector, was told by maint man that it wasn't important since I had 2 ..1 working . This is why my rent was increased? I spent my day listening to beeping all day.. very poor program .. Smoke detector not important...hmmm

The woman who gave us the tour (she was actually a sweetheart gave us a prep talk and all) actually admitted she’s had the “same issues with Miss New York” her being from New York somehow justified her rude attitude lmaoooo. That kind of stereotyping is completely unprofessional and reveals obvious bias. My sister is 22 years old, hardworking, and came in ready to secure housing. Instead, she was belittled, disrespected, and even cursed at by someone twice her age who should know better but my fault they from New York so that makes it okay. Like the lady who interview us said “if it’s meant to be it will be” Missa New York might not realize it but we obviously deserve better!
