Lexington Apartments

DO NOT RENT HERE. It seems really cheap, but after all of the dumb hidden fees and utilities, the price is around 800 dollars a month. The apartments are disgusting, with things broken when you move in. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers for 30+ apartments, and they are broken most of the time. The property management is awful and when you call them they are super rude and unhelpful. We put a maintenance request in for our door handle and blinds and it took them 3 days to replace blinds and we were billed $60 for it. When they rekeyed our door they gave us the master key to the apartment complex and when we told them they didn’t have us turn them in either. Do not rent here, it is not worth it.

We had an okay experience. The places are small and can be dirty. But, if you keep up on things it doesn't get too bad, though I've heard others having major mold problems. The bathroom is in the back, so if you have guests you had better have the bedroom clean, because they'll have to walk through it. The laundry situation sucks. There is 3 washers and 3 dryers for the entire apartment complex, so those machines are over worked. Most the time, at least one is malfunctioning. Very inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.

My wife and I were residents at Lexington Apartments from January 2014 - August 2014. We'd like to be as honest as possible about the experience we had while we lived here. I'll break it up in to sections. Management- Jake and Madi are actually very helpful, we appreciated the attention that they showed to us during the time that we lived there. We understand that they receive direction from Axiom, which is the company that owns the property, so many of the decisions that are made may not be completely made by Jake and Madi. I was pleased with Jake's willingness to help and direct when the apartments were flooded in July, and he was relatively quick to respond before then with anything that was needed for apartment maintenance. Do not rent here at these apartments, and I recommend not renting any property from axiom. I have had awful experiences with the girls at the office. First, I was asked for the address to our new apartment so they could send our security deposit. That never came. Then, we were informed that we owed $165 as an early exit fee, but I didn't have to worry about it because they were gonna look at my security deposit and that was most likely going to cover that charge. I finally came to my senses that I was most likely going to have to pay off this money, so I call the office and they tell me I actually do owe them $165, but there wasnt a due date. Weird. First, we moved in and our apartment looked like a garbage dump. The repairmen never cleaned up after themselves by the time we moved in. When it comes time to move out (because we weren't going to pay $475 a month to live in a rat hole), we cleaned everything on their cleaning list. We even bought new light bulbs and everything. I believe in leaving things better than they were before. A few weeks later, we get an email from Hawaii telling us that we never cleaned out apartment. I'm sure they had a good view of our apartment on the beach. These apartments are 1, overpriced, 2, not maintained in any way whatsoever, and 3, run by the dumbest morons to walk the face of the planet.
