If I COULD give a zero star rating, I WOULD! I had my own apartment say through the section eight bouger grand rapids, housing commission program.Meaning, I was income based and had to pay zero rent based on my income.Because I made zero dollars for income period and I was receiving state.Benefits and i've been on the waiting list 46 months and i've been my third time.Trying to acquire housing. I can’t even begin to detail the nightmare Leo and Al Apartments/PK Housing has put me through since moving out in April 2024. The unit itself I lived in for a year was nice and well kept albeit loud since it’s on a busy intersection on the west side. However, Leo and Al’s disorganization surrounding my move out wrongly cost me a few hundreds, and I now have a collections agency coming after me. I paid my rent in full and on time each month, and I properly shared my move out plan. Instead, they accused me of owing an extra month of rent and failing to return my keys. They have since come to acknowledge some of their wrongdoings, but it has taken months of emails and what I would consider less than professional behavior.
