Lennar at The Colony

Completely disappointed. Two of my friends have bought a house at the Colony and all I can say is 💯 not worth it. My friend recently closed on a home and it was dirty, lots of stuff not fixed and random things left throughout the house by vendors. Wonder is the builders even inspect the house before releasing keys. Door was unlocked when we got there. We were also promised railings on the front porch, but apparently they can’t now. Why advertise something that’s not true? And to make matters worse, we received the wrong address (old model) to pick up keys. Not organized at all!!! Will make sure not to recommend any more of my friends to Lennar!

We looked at a home in The Colony on August 4th, on August 6th submitted everything that was asked for including earnest money, we were told we would close on the 25th of August. Then the underwriters wanted more and more. They then asked for $7,000 more than twenty percent down to cover a debt I had more tripled the monthly payment to pay off in six months. We said at three days before closing we're done. We had our house rented, stuff in storage in Bastrop and no place to go. We quickly rented a house in. Pflugerville and completely moved in on the morning of the 27th. We are 76 and 82 and have a credit score of 795. We lost everything in the Bastrop Complex Fire and quite frankly that was a more enjoyable experience than dealing with Lennar Homes. Thank you.

My wife and i tried to go here to look at a house and see if they had a particular model of home and how much they were selling it for. We arrived at 5:30 pm the sign said they closed at 6 and were out in the neighborhood with another customer. The model was open so we walked in to take a look. After walking the model we waited in the kitchen of the model for the salesperson. We even checked the sales office periodically. We saw no one until a woman named Chelsea walked in around 6:15 and asked if she could help us. When we said we were looking to talk with a salesperson she said it was after 6 and they were closed. My wife explained we had gotten there around 5:30. Chelsea got defensive and said they were "out in the field" working. We asked if the salesperson was going to return and

Came on Monday at 2:55 pm , the model home is closed. Rang the doorbell - nothing. No note on the door either. Called the number given on their Google page, the machine said Due to the high volume calls .. etc etc Couldn’t talk to a real person. Strange sales approach.

We went at weekend and the salesman was extremely helpful and awesome!
