Legacy On The Bay

I’ve lived at Legacy on the Bay for going on 6 years now, and I honestly wouldn’t want to live anywhere else! The mature trees, koi fishy’s and turtles in the pond, and the walking trail makes it feel like I live outside of concrete paradise of typical “tourist destin”. I also love the look of the inside of the apartments, like little coastal cottages. The screened in balconies are AMAZING and my cats (and plants) love it. Sure, I’ve had a couple small maintenance issues, it’s an older property… but Luis and Manny have always been so responsive and gone above and beyond - from making sure my cats don’t escape (literally haha!), to over-communicating and always smiling and saying hello. This is by far the one the cleanest apartment complexes we have been to in the area. Maintenance is quick and gets things done, and they always find a solution when things break. While touring another complex, their compactor was broken and piles of trash littered the ground around the area, at Legacy they had a dumpster brought in same day so that services and cleanliness weren't affected, and repairs being done the next day. Nearly every issue I have submitted to maintenance has been handled same day, or at the latest, within the week. And, calling the office you won't get some lady who sounds like she hates her life, but instead some of the friendliest people I've ever spoken to at an apartment office.

I lived in alot of apartments throughout the years. But by far the best Maintenance team I've ever seen. Not only are they've great at fixing any issues. They are the most friendly, warm welcoming and trustworthy crew. Luis and Manny have always gone above and beyond with their workmanship and caring of your personal property and you as the tenant. Maybe the company can reward these gentlemen with a little pay raise. Also the Office guys are great too!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I want to say thank you to the maintenance team at Legacy on the Bay, especially Manuel and Louise, for their hard work and dedication. They consistently go above and beyond to help residents and resolve issues throughout the apartments. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to help make a real difference. They have been a big help not only to the property, but to the community itself under Greystar. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it does not go unnoticed. Thank you for all that you do.

I’ve known Luis and Manuel since February 2021, and they are by far the best maintenance staff I’ve ever encountered as a renter in Destin. Their professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency always impressed me. Luis and Manuel are not only skilled workers but also genuinely kind and caring people who go above and beyond to help. They truly make Legacy on the Bay an exceptional place to stay.
