LaVista Crossing

1/18/26 -Update The community is nice, quiet and offers a safe vibe in my experience. Along with surrounding delicious restaurants and stores. Unfortunately their roaches are and that’s an undeniably uncomfortable fact. And it’s sucks I did not see the signs sooner. There are several entry points, cracks and holes where they get in. They breed A lot. Now in my experience there are several more places that have little to no bugs at all with a better price in rent. I do think routine cleaning is slightly effective but it doesn’t change the fact that they are there breeding and living in the walls and such. Specifically this breed of roach.. Just disappointing having to turn the light on in your bathroom and having to check the ceiling and floor for them. An anxious habit in my home. But it

The manager and maintenance man are very warm, kind people. We did not rent there due to my mobility disability but the tour was nice. The amenities are great - nice pool, gym & recreation center. If you tour there you will feel very welcomed.

I’ve learned some hard lessons from this place & will apply them moving forward. Don’t move in on the weekend, if the leasing agent says they’ve done their walkthrough - do it again with them, make sure your toilets flush, check your ceilings, & more importantly if your gut says no, listen to it. After two separate appliances flooded the floors (shoutout to the fire department for assisting on the worst of the two because calling the emergency line at the complex got me no response for at least an hour), unusable plumbing the first weekend, clear & present mold in a few places (plus food from previous tenants left over in the dishwasher), & a slew of other problems that happened within a week of living there I feel like i was put in a unit that CLEARLY wasn’t ready. This apartment is a roof over your head and nothing more. It’s filled with bugs and roaches no matter how clean you are. They told me not to use the dishwasher to prevent bugs… that was never the problem. It was the disgustingness of the apartment. The central AC did not work, I filled out a work order. They cut a hole in my ceiling and left it like that for months and never fixed the issue. They only gave me an AC to put in my window for a year and a half. Management is horrendous. They don’t answer the phone ever. You go in person and they give you attitude. Lie about losing your paperwork, so keep all your documents yourself. The pool is never open. The permits are never done. The lights outside in the parking lot are not on so it is pitch black outside. There were several car break in

I've had a great experience living at Lavista Crossing. Shannon and Diana are absolutely awesome—very kind, helpful, and always responsive. They make sure maintenance requests are handled quickly, which I really appreciate. Since Shannon joined the team, things have noticeably improved. Her professionalism and responsiveness are a big reason why we’re renewing our lease. She’s gone above and beyond, even working directly with the Tucker Police to address car break-ins in the area. It’s clear she’s committed to making positive changes and fixing issues left behind by previous management. One thing I can say for sure is that the trash dumpsters are now being picked up weekly, which is definitely a good improvement. Overall, this has been my experience during my time here, and I’m grateful
