Avoid Las Villas Apartments – Unprofessional and Invasive Management Living at Las Villas Apartments has been one of the most frustrating experiences due to the unprofessional and invasive behavior of the property manager. Communication is consistently aggressive, dismissive, and unprofessional, making it difficult to feel comfortable as a tenant. A major issue is their disregard for tenant privacy and consent when it comes to maintenance access. Despite my repeated and clear communication that I was out of town and did not consent to anyone entering my unit in my absence, management refused to accommodate a rescheduled appointment. After one year of living at Las Villas apartments we can say that Jac’que has given us the same care and attention now as she did on the day we signed the lease. She personally reaches out to tenants to check in on everyone consistently. We were unsure about moving to the area but safety has never NOT. ONCE. been a concern since being here and Jac’que is the reason. She does a more than thorough job of keeping any non residents out and the residents in order. We appreciate the rules (aka common courtesies) listed in the lease and the fact that the manager actually enforces them, we enjoy living in a place like this! I have lived at Las Villas with my husband for 5 years now and we absolutely love it here. Previous reviewers describe the property manager in very negative ways, however Jac’Que is by far the best thing about this complex and she is the reason we have stayed as long as we have. Any reviews describing her in such rude terms as “lonely and pathetic” are from tenants who can’t handle being confronted about their own actions by her. If you are honest and upfront with her and if you follow the rules agreed upon in your lease then you will have absolutely no issues with her. She is fair and always there for her tenants, no matter the hour. We have lived at Las Villas for more than 10 years, going through three property managers in that time. Prior to Jac'Que taking over as property manager there were a number of problems, however she quickly resolved them and improved a number of features (pool area, laundry area, responsiveness of maintenance, etc.). She is the reason we have stayed with Las Villas for so long, she has been professional, attentive, and competent during the entire time she has worked here. When we have had any maintenance issues Jac'Que has responded to our texts quickly and made sure that maintenance personal would be onsite to fix the problems within the day or worked to resolve issues herself immediately. These apartments don't deserve a rating have put in several work orders and nothing gets done. I think it only gets done when you move out so feel lucky for the next tenant have a refrigerator that has a work order since moved in, and now have a hole in ceiling from top apartments water damage. And also air filters don't get replaced so if you have respiratorial issues this is not the place for you think twice wish I would have. Not renewing lease. Major other issues but will do a new review when find new place, at least with better management.
