Las Ventanas Apartments

Finally I can give the 5 star rating... because the pool is open! The LV staff is friendly and we have a nice apartment with mountain views.

We have been living here at Las Ventanas for almost a year now and our experience has been fantastic. The staff is very inviting and respectful, they have handle all issues in a timely manner. We are so satisfied with our 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment that are renewing our lease for another year

Requires a ~$300 fee per person before receiving the lease. If you disagree on the terms of the lease you will be SoL on that money because they just ghost you. Can’t speak on the quality of living there because I decided not to sign and never received a response from them. If you’re going to try to live here make sure you’re dead set on it.

Smoke and mirrors. Nickel and diming. They always say read the bad reviews first and it couldn't be more true for this place. No matter how much detailing you give the cleaning on your exit they are going to find a way to charge you extra fees even though they couldn't manage to set the standard themselves. From toilets that can't be repaired as too old to turn the water off to garbage show and smell on a regular basis be prepared to grin and bear it. Now the pool and gym are nice as they should be to entice you in BUT remember these facilities are supplied solely at the discretion of management. They have no compensatory value in your contract if closed. Renter beware.

I had to move to Alamagordo sight unseen like many people due to the USAF or in my case family in the AF. They put a 54$ charge on my bill and it was labeled "Cable", so I thought great, cables only 54$ I asked upon arrival if that included internet and she then informed me that I was paying 54$ a month (650 annual) for a small box with a key hole in it ( but they don't allow you to have your own key) that you have to drop everything and type 6 numbers into every time you go inside. This isn't optional. They fed me a rehearsed corpo line about how they don't want to call it CABLE on the bill but they have to... because they have a lucrative contract with ADT swindling their own residents. Also, no covered parking in southern New Mexico unless you again pay over 600$ a year. After all, if t
