As a UD parent I highly recommend Lang Development Group for student rental housing. Their properties are all sought after locations, close to everything on campus, and come with great safety features so you can rest easy and they include all the top amenities. My daughter has rented Lang for two years and has been extremely happy. LeAnne at Lang is extremely helpful and made the leasing process seamless. Their leases are clear, the Rent Cafe website makes payment easy and their maintenance crew addresses any issues promptly. If you are looking for a place for your UD student choose Lang!

Lang is a terrible real estate agency, and my experience with them has all been negative. I would not even recommend them as a last resort for housing because they are just unprofessional, rude and unreasonable. I once locked myself out of my apartment in the summer, and they required $50 bucks to come and unlock it. I was fully willing to pay, considering there was no way I could get in. However, they were strict on cash only and I couldn’t get cash since my wallet was in my room. They were very rude and inconsiderate, and couldn’t come to a possible solution. When I did somehow get cash, they couldn’t even give me change so essentially they stole my money. They also got my car towed when they couldn’t even prove I was parked incorrectly. I have not done business with Lang Development, but have had a negative experience with them. Some time ago, I worked at a business along Main St in Newark, somewhere that Lang Development owns many properties. One night after working late, I walk out of work to find out that Lang had my car towed, believing that it was parked illegally. However there was not even an attempt made to check if the vehicle was owned by an employee or customer of the business next to the parking lot. Needless to say, I was NOT parked illegally or incorrectly. After retrieving my vehicle from the tow yard that night, I contacted the Lang office the next day to voice my concern and to get a refund for what I paid to retrieve my car from the tow yard.
