Lakewood Apartments

When I first moved in, it was great. Any complaint I had was taken care of. I didn't bother them hardly any in the 6 years I was there. It got bad when I didn't have a working toilet and the refrigerator kept leaking. I told Ricarldo. I tried to fix the toilet myself because they were short maintanence employees. I couldn't fix it, but bought the product to fix it. I told Ricarldo and he told me someone would be out the next morning. No one showed. I didn't have a working toilet for a week. I couldn't take it anymore. I moved out last August. I made sure I paid on my credit card, so it was more and gave them plenty of notice. They sent all my information to the collection agency. I've been living here 5 months now. The apartment is nice. Love the view of the lake from my patio. The only take away is the buildings need to be pressured wash. The spiders and wasps must go!! Other than that... Love it here!! Nice and quiet.

I absolutely enjoyed living at Lakewood Apartments. The management staff was always helpful and friendly. I took relaxing walks around the pond and settled in for the evening with a nice drink on the balcony. The pool was a perfect place for hanging out or getting some exercise. Lakewood is a wonderful to call home after a long work day. I highly recommend it.

The prices for rent keep rising, but the quality of the apartments the rent never change. When someone moved out, they CAN upgrade and fix the unit, but they won't. The lowest price, as of this post, is $951/mo. I was paying about $850/mo less than a year ago. I even had two bathrooms. Once I can get my girlfriend out and into my house, I will gladly break the lease. Avoid unless they actually upgrade the units! Edit: added photos. Also, this unit has the switch for the garbage disposal on hip level, making it easy for a child to turn on, or to accidentally hit, which we have done. The cabinets are warped, screws were taken out of the wall and the holes were just painted over. I requested a repair on the A/C due to major squeaking, but it wasn't fixed. This was the best move in experience- the management team is amazing and great to work with. They always made me feel welcome and knew me by name.
