Lakeview Apartments

Extremely awful first apartment experience. Between appliances molding, breaking, or flat out not working, and then maintenance just decides to come and fix it whenever they feel like it. The price of this place DOES NOT reflect the condition of the apartments or facility in the slightest amount. Management is a pain to deal with. They tried to force us to pay $300 for keys that we turned in prior to moving and also charged us for rent in September when our lease ended on August 30th! The place is a joke and I would not recommend it to anyone!

Would not recommend this place to ANYONE. They are literal scammers! In the time of living here my fridge went out 3 times & my vehicle was broken into. Upon moving out I was charged rent for September when my lease ended in August. Then they lied and said I never turned in my keys just so they could charge me more fees when I turned in my keys 5 days prior to my lease ending & the woman Erin I turned my keys in with literally confirmed I turned them in to her. I had a email from the property manager stating I should not owe anything for the month of September as my lease ended in August but they ignored it and charged me anyways then threatened to send me to collection if the payment for the month I was not there wasn’t paid. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!

I have lived here since February and I have shared a negative review that I’ve deleted multiple times out of fear of retaliation, but my negative review is here to stay considering our hot water has now not been fixed for over four months.. and we are probably going to go the rest of our lease and all winter without hot water. I had to call the Clark County health dept to come out and do an inspection. & the man immediately goes “Doesn’t work AT ALL.” even when it does not run for the washer, dishwasher, etc. AT ALL ALLLLL day long I will not use warm water at all, I cannot even bathe here this is inhabitable and inhumane and they know it and don’t care, I core to them that I was a mother with 3 children and on my period the first month and they still haven’t fixed it. I just want to say for the condition of these apartments they literally dont need to be turning anyone away. Or charging so much. We had a pending eviction that was paid in full weeks before we even decided this place was our only option to stay in sellersburg. They turned us away and called it a 'pay and stay' like someone wants an eviction on their record. Not to mention both times we looked at a unit it reeked of dog/cat piss. Don't even understand the floor plan of the second floor. It's just dumb and unsafe. The railings are loose and you can clearly see how crappy the cleaning company they use is. I lived here recently and all I can say is Tomi, the manager, knows the sense of community. I knew when coming home I had a secure safe space to live. The carports were included with rent and was a lovely feature with our bipolar Indiana weather. The enclosed patios were the cherry on top to sit out and enjoy the sunrise and sunsets. There is plenty of green space for people and pets to enjoy. Maintenance staff, Jimmy in particular, was one of my favorites because he would chat with me during my service requests and gave me tips on how to keep my appliances in excellent shape! If I am ever back in Indiana I would definitely come back!
