Lake Village Townhomes

Giving this one star is overreaching. I lived here for a year, once my lease was up I was out of there. I would never move back and would not recommend this complex to anyone. This complex is not safe for women who live alone. If you're not being preyed on by the "contractors they hire" you will not be able to live in peace by some neighbors guests. The good neighbors that was left and I had to ban together to get an unsupervised contractor (roofing company response attached) to move his vehicle to the area he was working in. This area is not safe for young professionals especially when contractors and office staff share statements like the enclosed about residents that are paying(on time every month) to live peacefully. Well to begin I would like to state this review is for the application/leasing process and for Daiyanna P. From the moment I visited, I was welcomed by Ms. Daiyanna and treated like a top priority. She went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and get me the exact townhome I was looking for! I can’t express enough how appreciative I am for her during this leasing process!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lake Village! From start to finish, my experience here has been nothing short of amazing. The management team is truly outstanding—professional, responsive, kind, and genuinely invested in their residents. Any time I needed something, it was handled quickly and with care, which made living here completely stress-free. I have truly loved my time at Lake Village and am so grateful for the sense of community and support I felt while living here. It’s rare to find a place that feels like home because of the people who run it, and that’s exactly what this was for me. If I ever find myself needing to rent an apartment again in the future, there is no question—I would choose Lake Village without hesitation. Highly, highly recommend!

A warning to current and prospective residents of this townhouse village: it's surprisingly easy to get accepted, but nearly impossible to leave. Our experience was a prime example. When our lease was up in July, we requested a two-month extension, which the manager granted. We began paying an additional $200 per month for a two-bedroom townhouse. However, when we returned the keys and prepared to move out, the manager claimed we needed to provide a 60-day notice and pay for two additional months. This was despite our previous agreement and the extra payments we made. We were shocked and outraged by this sudden change. The townhouses themselves are overpriced, with small rooms and inadequate heating cooling systems that lead to high energy bills (300-400 and over per month).The only redee

Not going to lie, I just moved here from Ashley Apartments in Laurel and I've lived here for a month now. Not too many complaints except for how the fridge can't open all the way, how small the laundry space is, and how long the heater/AC takes to turn on. On the brighter side though, I don't have to deal with frequent outages, bad parking, and gang mischief like I did in Ashley Apartments in Laurel, MD. Also, very peaceful and quiet during the day with very friendly people in the neighborhood.
