Year-long mouse infestation. Not a single reasonable thing done. You can submit a request for maintenance, and they'll surely check it off as completed, but no one will really do anything. You can call the health inspector, but you're wasting your time (hold on to that order though, you might want it later). It's worth noting, no professional cleaning service in Boston will touch a property with an active mouse infestation. You're entirely on your own. If you don't have a thermostat it's because your neighbor has both of yours. Some guy got shot dead behind my building and they bumped up the rent a few months later. KEW gets one star ONLY because they canned the old maintenance guy for breaking-and-entering and unauthorized pipes access that shut off water to the building, zero otherwise.

AVOID!! They don’t care about the tenants at ALL. They let people into your unit with ZERO notice. They DO NOT respond to emails or phone calls. The property manager does NOT care about responding or helping the clients. They don’t repair damages, they are completely unprepared for tenants. All of their communication is unprofessional, delayed, and irresponsible. AVOID AVOID AVOID. The units are falling apart and nobody will help or respond to you. There are bugs, mold, rotten wood, you can see the backboard behind the walls. They’re rude, cheap, and just want your money. I’ve lived in Boston for several years - this is the WORST experience. It’s a ticking time bomb. One of these days somebody will sue this company

If you’ve ever wanted to hear your neighbor’s entire life story through the walls, this is your dream come true. They say you get what you pay for, but KEW is here to prove that wrong. Even a “budget-friendly” lease gets you one of the worst units in the neighborhood, complete with zero soundproofing and a generous helping of pests. Sure, the apartments are old—charmingly vintage, if you will—but back when Brian managed the place, things were at least livable. He was the glue holding this sinking ship together. Now that he’s gone, there’s not a single thing left that justifies staying. But hey, if you're into overpriced frustration and questionable hygiene, KEW might just be your perfect match

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I wish I could give 0 stars. I lived under KEW management for 3 years and not one time did they do the right thing, even after we moved out. The apartment was not even remotely clean before we moved in. Catherine constantly had maintenance illegally entering the apartment without prior notice; they even amended the lease to change the required notice to one hour in advance -- which in itself is completely illegal. There were a variety of plumbing issues (our bathroom ceiling started to cave in) that were constantly blamed on the tenants, despite the damp ceiling and walls and mold upon move in. We were told we didn't know how to use a shower properly. Maintenance was so sloppy they would lean ladders against our art, get paint and caulk all over our rugs and shower cu

If I could give a 0 star I would. Realtor Alison Cusack and the whole team neglects their job and I do not recommend doing business with this company.
