Paid the $25 application fee. According to VA code landlords can charge this for background checks, credit checks, and employment checks. None of them were done. 8 months later and several calls and emails the only response I've ever received was "we don't handle applications." My application has disappeared and they want another $25 for another. Looked for an owner everywhere short of going to the county office to see who owns that property and it's hidden for a reason. Almost tempted to hire an attorney for $1000 to get the $25 back, which sounds ridiculous, but at least maybe they'd stop scamming people from hard earned money. At least say there's nothing available at the moment. ANY response at all would have been sufficient.

I have had many problems with this place ever since I moved in 2 years ago and mentioned it has black mold which they still refuse to acknowledge that it does. I never receive a lease renewal reminder nor did i receive a rent increase notice (very drastic increase) while other tenants I know did receive them. Patricia the property manager is very unkind and very rude. Never answers the phone, every once in awhile will email back. Doesn't work with you on any issues and usually doesn't want to hear about it. If anything breaks good luck getting it fixed. I stopped by the apartment complex because I called about 12 times and the phone was never answered. The woman was outside smoking. When we walked up she basically ran back inside and locked the door. We knocked and she slivered out, as if she didn't want to deal with us. She was super defensive and didn't want to anwer any questions. All I said was I'm looking for a 2 bedroom apartment, and that the website said there was availability. She was extremely rude right off the bat. I've worked in customer service for over 15 years and I have never come across someone that rude before. From a business standpoint how she treated me, my sister, and my mother was completely unacceptable. We were not rude or anything. I’ve lived here about 6 months and love it. After living in a ‘luxury’ apartment complex where there were extensive rules and nosey neighbors and nosey managers this place is a breath of fresh air. The apartments themselves are great for the price and the grounds are well kept. This apartment complex is also a community. There is life and children who play around outside and neighbors wave and say hello. There is definitely some parts of the apartment that could be updated but our space has felt very homey.

Literally had to call THREE times before the phone could be picked I asked one question and that was "are there any townhomes available" management was very rude about her response and said no and hung up. Did not ask if I needed anything else. Also my boyfriend had called back and she hung up on him twice and the third time she didn't even speak she just picked up and did not say anything to him. Shes a very rude person. I work as sales associate and I know how unprofessional that is...not only that it just comon sense to have curiosity to other people. Like I'm really interested and living here but mangment pushes people away. Calling them is not the best option because you'll get a rude response or no response.
