Avoid This Place - Poor Management & Unsafe Conditions: Living here has been nothing short of frustrating. Both the property and the management are neglectful, and for nearly $2,000/month (with annual increases of $160/year), the conditions are unacceptable. Property Neglect: Garbage Dumps - Both ends of the property are taken up by large, unsightly garbage piles, leaving little usable green space (which is already covered in dog feces and cigarette butts). Black Mold & Structural Damage. Visible black mold covers the building exterior, and the siding is falling off in multiple areas. Interior Filth: Common areas are filthy, with stains and grime on the walls, as shown in the attached photos. Maintenance Failures: Unresponsive & Rude. I have waited to review Joslen Commons due to my hope of having my $1395 original deposit returned. What a joke. If you choose to rent here— expect that your deposit will not be returned & consider your “deposit” as your donation to JC. At every other rental unit I have occupied over the years I have been refunded my original deposit. JC lied and told me the damage to my apartment was more than the deposit. Regarding “maintenance”, this word assumes that as part of paying rent, your basic appliances and toilet will be working. At one point after my toilet kept stopping up, and the maintenance employee had not fixed the toilet— unfortunately it got stopped up on a Saturday morning. I had already begun throwing toilet paper into a lined trash can in and effort to reduce the chance of blocka

Horrible apt complex. Impossible to reach management and on the off chance you are able to , the staff on hand is inept, lazy, and uncaring. Used to be a decent place to live but new owners are quickly turning into “slum lords”. Want their rent but don’t want to take care of upkeep. Repairs are minimal to non existent.

Awful awful place. Horrible management. Poor maintenance. Avoid this place. All the negative reviews are true. Black mold growing all in and outside of the building.

I live here. I am very satisfied with my apartment. I have good neighbors.
