Extremly unprofessional management from Mrs. Jasmine Johnson and also regonal manager Mrs.Susan in Port Arthur.I needed an investigation done from recuring theft in my arpartment,even after paying for a new front door luck on my behalf and it never stoped. After asking Mrs.Jasmine who has my key and the only answer was you and us and maintencence man.I have now involved the police department.I can not recoment the complex also for letting a roofleak flare out ,we had black mold here on the thirt floor in the sealing for so long. After extensive painting it over it looks right now covert.This company is rude and ruthless. A shame it could have been so much better,with a little effort.

very unprofessional… i wouldn’t recommend this place to no one.. since day one they’re very slow… they don’t return call or emails , they don’t care about their residents or concerns. they literally do whatever they want and don’t care… they charged me twice for rent and i still haven’t received my refund… this company is ridiculous. worst i’ve ever experienced… Their management is very unprofessional as well … All around would not recommend to an enemy

DO NOT RENT HERE! This place has been a nightmare from the very beginning. I ignored all of the red flags because of the time frame in which I needed to find a place and the apartment was not in livable conditions when they gave me the keys.They threatened to cancel my lease before I even moved in because I brought it to their attention rather than to own their mistake and try to provide an actual solution. It took me a few months of back and forth with management, corporate, and others. over 100 pictures and videos emailed to them... eventually they gave me a partial reimbursement after I handled most of the problems myself because it needed to be taken care of right away and still I continued to experience issues. Unprofessional behavior from every single category of this company!! I have lived in Heatherbrook apartments for 7 years and I received a notice that they were not going to renew my lease and they are terminating my subsidy. Never once late on rent payments and never had a noise complaint!! I exercised My rights on many occasions so in return I have to move! This is for the aged and disabled persons, but management and upper management treat the tenants like we are criminals. My advice to anyone who is looking for a place to rent STAY AWAY FROM ITEX properties!!

If you are a contractor contacted to perform projects, renovations, or repairs at any of the ITEX properties, walk away immediately. This company doesn’t like to pay for work completed even when completed exactly as required. I had a property manager tell us this, after the work was completed, of course. He wasn’t surprised in the least that we weren’t being paid. Looks like the other reviews by tenants say not to live in their residences (which I could tell you is absolutely correct, just by seeing the state of the grounds) and I’m adding a warning to contractors to avoid doing any work for this company as well.
