Had an appraisal completed by Donald Boyce November 2023 which was extremely low. He used home comparisons that were 14 miles away instead of newly sold homes that were 3 miles away. Got another appraisal approx 2 weeks later, earliest another appraiser could come out, that appraised my house for more than $150,000 than his appraisal. Went under contract the next month, Jan 2024 for $136,000 more than his appraisal and closed in February. Also, the buyers mortgage company appraised the house at more than $160,000 over his appraisal 2 months prior. If you want lose money on your home sale, use Islands Real estate. Glad I didn't stay with his appraisal and got another one.
