We had a wonderful experience with April Annas selling our Oak Island home in 2023 before relocating to Greensboro. However, after 9 months away, we decided we missed the beach and did not hesitate to reach out again to April for help in returning home. We initially asked her help to find us a weekend home, and she worked hard to identify properties. But then, we changed gears on her and decided to relocate permanently back to the beach. After interviews with 4 different real estate firms, we chose April Annas of Island Life in October of 2022. She began work immediately and secured a contract in early November. Unfortunately, and most unexpectedly, the buyer backed out of the offer with only days remaining in due diligence. As the holidays were approaching, and being very disappointed by the cancellation of our contract, we decided to take the house off of the market and to reconsider putting it back on in the Spring of 2023.
