I have never left a negative google review but, here it goes. Multiple, huge mistakes in the building of our cabinets with complete disregard of requests, directions and instructions. No accountability, unprofessional, condescending, dishonest, untrustworthy and eventually, unresponsive yet demanding full payment for a job not near completion. I fully regret utilizing this company and highly suggest you look elsewhere. Even with a well-respected, reputable general contractor managing our project, they’ve been a nightmare. I can’t imagine had I tried working with them directly how much worse of a mess we’d be in. On the plus side, no cabinet doors allows for easy accessibility to cooking supplies. The large cabinet without a home is a bit of a road block in the general flow of the kit

Very helpful and professional staff. Didn't seem custom furniture builders were their usual clientele but were more than happy to help us figure out what we needed and our options. Highly recommend! Update - wood was great to work with, just got my second batch for more projects!

Chaden and his team deliver quality at every turn and that should be expected. After all he’s a true designer/artist leading a dedicated team to raise the bar. It’s an honor to watch Iowa Home Crafters continue to redefine such a competitive industry! Keep up the great work.

We hired IHC to step into a project that was ghosted by another local company. Terrible mess, but the folks at IHC took it in stride, fit us into their schedule, and gave us a high-quality refurbishment of a bathroom. They are good on details, quality work, and amazing at listening to clients and working with them. *Highly* recommend if you're in the Ames area. Plan to hire them again to work on a second bathroom.
