Hyde Park Apartments

I signed a year lease from August of 2024-August of 2025. In my time of living here, I have had numerous neighbors move in & out on the side of me and above me (I was on the 2nd floor) & so the first thing I want to mention is that the walls are PAPER thin. No matter who it is or how quiet they try to be, you will still hear them. Which on the other hand, if you have a loud/noisy neighbor/newborn baby, be prepared to live in misery. The unit was very clean when I moved in. In my year of living here, I “only” saw one German cockroach; I called the leasing office and they had pest control at my house within 2 days, & then again once more the following week, & I do believe if it became an issue, they would have rectified it. BRUTALLY Hot in the Summers If you don't actively enjoy being hot in the summer, you should avoid living here. We unfortunately had no better option for a period spanning two summers, and it was an incredibly uncomfortable, stressful, and frustrating experience. The AC units these apartments were designed with are incapable of keeping up with the summer sun that bakes the west-facing buildings in the complex. Our first summer, the interior temp was consistently reaching a sweltering 84°. A maintenance tech told us the unit was working fine; that, "well, heat rises and you're on the top floor", and to keep all of our blinds closed all the time, which was depressing, but we did it. We also added blackout curtains, living in just artificial light. But it didn't help, the temp still consiste

Just moved in. So far it seems like one of the best neighborhoods I have seen in the city. The staff has been very nice and patient through the whole process. Especially the leasing consultant Anna. Buildings are very clean. Including the shared laundry rooms on each floor. Spacious bedrooms. The Kitchen is my favorite. Hasn’t been a month and It already feels like home.

Liked the apartment. Neighborhood seems quiet and there’s ample parking. However, after paying deposit and reading over the lease, the company didn’t want to honor “their” lease which states “You have the right to have your dwelling unit (apartment) inspected by us in your presence for the purpose of making a written list of damages that exist at the commencement of the tenancy if you request an inspection by certified mail within fifteen (15) days of your occupancy (the date you move in).” Didn’t honor lease even before move in. Red flag

Hello! I recently started renting an apartment here, and I had the best experience when it came to interacting with the leasing department! The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly, safe!! I’d recommend it to anyone who’s looking! it’s a beautiful apartment, and i love it so much!
