I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this company has treated us horribly. We were subleasing a townhome from a friend, who had reported water damage months before and was told it had been “fixed.” It clearly was a temporary fix. Eventually, he moved out but was still stuck paying rent for a few months until we agreed to take it over. On our move-in day, we were told there was “livable water damage.” When we arrived, water was seeping through the upstairs walls and black mold covered the ceiling. Still trying to be hopeful, we asked how they planned to handle the mold. Their solution? Spray KILZ, wipe it off, and paint over it… & while this was being handled.. it was “okay to stay there” Nothing was truly cleaned out, every corner of the place was filled with dirt, and they only replace

Absolutely DO NOT RENT with Hunziker Property Management. My experience with them has been extremely disappointing, unfair, and unprofessional. When I moved into my apartment, I immediately documented numerous pre-existing issues: scratches and nail holes in the walls, dirt and mud on window frames, and stains and dirt behind the stove and washer/dryer. I sent all of this to management at move-in, and they confirmed in writing that these were normal wear and tear and would not be charged at move-out. In early July, their own pre-inspection noted that the apartment was “so clean.” Yet after I moved out, Hunziker completely reversed their story, suddenly claiming the apartment was “so dirty” and refusing to rent to me again. I have a two bedroom apartment. The maintenance team is awesome. I have had them here multiple times, worked with Johanna, The property manager. Have had nothing but timely response and help, with great out comes. I do expect to do my own cleaning, maybe change a light bulb, furnace filter.

We had a tour scheduled for 1:00. No one was there, and the office was closed since it was the weekend. Ended up finally getting a message at 1:10 that they had a flat tire on the way and needed to cancel. Seems like we could have gotten that message way sooner. They apologized for the “confusion”. Plenty of other rental options in the area.

Been happily renting the same place for the past 5 years and the last few with HPM management specifically. Maintenance and management has been solid. Love my unit- quiet and nice community. A great place to call home!
