Hunter Hill Apartments

My family and I moved in about 7 months ago from Baltimore and we can't be happier with our decision. The Community Manager Anna Perry is excellent. She is very responsive and completes all concerns very quickly. We are and continue to be treated like family. Anna also has orchestrated some fun events like the Community Yard Sale we had in the Summer and the Trick or Treat event. She is currently organizing other fun events that the community can be apart of and is open to ideas to improve the community by adding a playground, community garden or even a dog park. Not only is Anna excellent, the maintenance staff is fast, efficient and friendly. Mr. Bryan is always willing to lend a hand and a friendly smile when we see him working around the complex. As an incoming student, I was very nervous about trying to find a place to stay. I did not have any luck with another facility but that’s when I found Hunter Hill Apartments. Rebecca was/is amazing! She made the whole process so smooth and easy from start to move in! I had a lease within 24 hours of our first contact. The apartment was very clean at the first walk through, and she asked me to tell her about any issues I found. The floors are original hardwood so they have some scuffs on them, but that was the only issue as to be expected! Over all, I would 100% recommend this place to anyone moving into the Hagerstown area.

During my time living here, I experienced multiple ongoing issues that were never resolved. The walls and floors were extremely thin, allowing sound to travel easily between units. Residents frequently disregarded community rules, and there was a constant smell of marijuana in my bedroom, both day and night. Laundry facilities were poorly maintained. Residents often left clothes in the machines for extended periods, and washers were sometimes out of service for weeks without repair. When I reported the problem to management, I was told to contact the repair company myself. The building also had a pest problem. Insects were common, and on one occasion, I was stung by a bee while sleeping. Despite reporting these issues, no meaningful action was taken. Based on my experience, I cannot recomm

Lived here for 2 years while the apartments themselves are not bad the management company is corrupt and does not care about their tenants. Where to start? The washers and dryers are constantly broken or not working right. Management never addresses this issue they basically will tell you to call the owner of the company who services them. There are tenants who constantly violate community rules, there were drug dealers in my building I lived in who were dealing drugs on the property on top of that they would keep my neighbor up all night. The storage units were broken into IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT ONE NIGHT, management never addressed it they swept it under the rug and have done nothing to secure the building. As a still unsung writer who most appreciates privacy, quiet, and security (plus some gardening when things bloom), my building and the surrounding landscape have really come into their own as a place to live and work. Management, especially with Rebecca anchoring the office, has been infallibly responsive and responsible. When home, I'm really quite at home.
