Hudson Yard Townhomes

I’ve lived at Hudson Yard Townhouses for a couple of years now, and while the community itself is visually beautiful and well-maintained, my experience has been overshadowed by persistent issues that have seriously impacted my health, safety, and overall quality of life. Despite the property’s no-smoking policy—clearly outlined in my lease addendum—my neighbors have repeatedly smoked cigarettes and marijuana, causing secondhand smoke to infiltrate my unit. I’ve made numerous complaints to both the previous and current management companies. The former claimed they were pursuing legal action, and the current team has acknowledged the issue but has yet to resolve it meaningfully. Super cute town homes that provide ample space and neutral tones to help modernize the space. Clean and in a great location. Love the outdoor space as well as the provided basement for extra storage. The new management team is wonderful!

Location is simply the best!! Very quiet neighborhood and so close to the downtown area. I appreciate the new management company that just took over, they are so great and super helpful! They are already making very nice improvements on the property so far.

The two 5-star reviews are from people associated with the new management company that bought the townhouses and increased rent from $1,000 per month to $1,750 per month. This rent increase has forced nearly half of the families to move out immediately. Other families have been served eviction notices. I have been through the properties numerous times and they are in poor shape. Mold and mildew smells. Cracks in walls. Mice and other critters. The previous owner, Rick Fry, did minimal upkeep on them, was slow to fulfill maintenance requests and took little action (in some units no action) following the recurring flooding that happens during heavy rains.
