Hudson Meadows Retirement Community

Hudson Meadows is our new home. We have lived here 5 months. I feel very comfortable living in a community where literally everyone is encouraging, supportive, and fun. The staff has an excellent attitude and are always available to assist in helping to make us feel We are welcome here.

I have been at the Meadows in Hudson for more than a year and 1/2. My experience has been, in every way, terrific! My apartment is beautiful, cleaned regularly by competent housekeeping staff in a most satisfactory manner; the programs are varied and imaginatively managed; the meals also are very good and varied. The management and support staff are friendly and responsive to resident requests. This is a delightful place and I wouldn't change a thing or consider another location!

We have recently started our search for a community to care for my mother. After touring local sites, we have discovered "The Hudson Meadows" is by far the best Retirement Community we can imagine. The site design is overflowing with outstanding features, gracefully combined in thoughtful architecture. There is a grand dining area with large windows to bring in the sunshine, diverse freshly prepared meal selection, a beautiful water feature with Koi fish, an actual full size theater, pool table, poker/game room, comfortable & casual lounge room with snacks and refreshments, large well outfitted exercise room, planned on site bank, a gaming arcade, a hair salon, large library, 2- Fire Safety gathering areas with fire doors on each of the 3 floors, available garages for resident use, fully o

We moved Mom there in January. Before moving she was sitting in her recliner, watching television, and falling asleep during the day. Now she is doing Wii Bowling, eating meals and socializing with others, attending church services, going to exercise class, playing pinochle, listening to presentations, and more. She is so busy that she rarely has time to talk on the phone! Often she thanks me and my sister for moving her to the Hudson Meadows. We are happy to see her socializing and doing things again.

Hudson Meadows is a great place to live. My friends from NJ say I have added years to my life by living in a stress free environment. No worries about house maintenance and replacing things around the house. All I have to do at HM is my laundry. I don't have to cook since all my meals are provided. My apartment is cleaned weekly and they even change the bed sheets. All the employees are top notch and can't do enough for you. Activities galore. Anything from exercise and balance classes to Horse Races and Bingo.You can always find residents playing Bridge, Euchere, Poker and Rummikub. There is always a movie shown twice daily in our gorgeous theatre. Did I mention Happy Hour twice weekly where the residents can relax, chat and have a glass of wine, beer or soda.
