Horizon Ridge Apartments

If you’re BLACK, HISPANIC, or ASIAN, please stay away from this place. This has got to be the most racist apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. I moved here with my girlfriend, and we thought it was an amazing place to start raising our family. But a few weeks in, things started to go wrong. One night, it was snowing and the parking lot hadn’t been plowed yet, so I couldn’t see the lines on the ground. I parked my car and got ready for my flight that night. Two days into my trip, I got a call stating that there was a note on my car saying that if I didn’t park within the lines, it would be towed. I called the office to explain that I was out of state and would be back in a few days. The lady was extremely rude, cursed at my girlfriend, and hung up the phone. I had to cut my business trip

Place is well kept on the outside. People are friendly. My friend used to say good things about this place but he is moving due to their rent hikes. I occasionally find that the internet they give you that comes with the apartment cuts out daily. Occasionally we have had power outages that occurred when there were no storms. I’ve rented here for 5 years. Judy the manager is nice as well but I don’t think the price hikes are worth staying. I’m currently looking for other options.

Let me tell you the tale of Horizon Ridge. It’s not a bad place over all but in a whole is lacking. Let’s talk amenities, pool, gym, now newly installed electric chargers. Those three things sound like a wonderful edition but other than the pool the gym is basically have a room with no ac to my knowledge with a porch off the side over looking the pool. The gym also lacks in the equipment as it has some things but entering the room you’ll find yourself wondering why the room exists anyway. If you see into the apartments you’ll notice the landlord special most likely. Paint on paint on paint but they do make up for it with a good ac and heating system. This place was my first apartment with my fiance. We had moved to the area for the first time. We had checked so many apartments and this one we fell in love with. We had lived here for 2 years. We would have stayed longer but my fiance had to get an apartment where it was closer to her job. It's super quiet. If you want to be close to Albany but far enough to be out of the city this is a beautiful place. Judy is absolutely amazing. The maintenance men are just as great! They take care of the necessities like snow plowing and icing. They come to your apartments and can fix what needs to be fixed. They will help you hang a different shower head if that's what you want to. This apartment complex is absolutely amazing. We would move back in a heartbeat we could. Take the chance and get an apa

The apartments are good sized, and it’s pretty cozy. Me and my family have lived here for the past 5 years and we’re happy. The pool is a nice addition to the complex. It’s really good for bikers, and joggers/runners. And just a perfect fit for a starter apartment for when you move out of your parents house. But a little suggestion, you guys should really fill that huge field in the middle with a playground or like a volleyball net
