I rented a townhouse through HSPM from May 15 to July 12, 2025, advertised as “beautifully renovated from top to bottom.” After moving in, I found the reality to be very different. There were unsealed doors with visible gaps (allowing pests inside), rotted wood, an unsealed vent, and a broken dishwasher that took two months to replace. Fixtures were poorly installed — one even caused an injury to my child. I documented the issues with photos, inspector notes, and lab-tested insect samples. A mold inspection was performed, but the results were never provided despite my requests, even as my child developed respiratory issues while living in the home. Later, I confirmed with the county that major renovations had been completed without permits, despite being advertised as fully renovated. I

This has been the very best property management company I’ve ever worked with, they really roll out the red carpet not only for the landlords/owners, but for the tenants as well. Anytime a tenant of mine has had a request, the management company is very quick to get in touch with me and together we get anything pending done; happy tenants are long lasting tenants. I get semi annual reports for the home, detailed cash flow reports and anytime I have a question, I send an email and in few minutes I have a response or at least acknowledgement of my request. They really take the stress out of being a landlord. I want to also mention that the property manager I work with is Teri and she is absolutely fantastic and I couldn’t be happier with her attentiveness, communication and guidance. I highl
