We had a really good experience with our SuperShell build once Rudy took over as our project manager. If you are handy and able to do finish work yourselves this is a great way to build an affordable house in Central Oregon. We built the 2042 plan and love the layout and spaces built into the plan, and as a bonus it came with an insulated garage standard. There are some things you do need to fully understand when you build with them, and read the contract entirely before signing to have a good experience. Understanding what you are responsible for and the costs associated is VERY important. We built a model 875 with Hiline and we would do it again. We found them to be the most affordable builder in Central Oregon. The project was completed quickly and overall we are very satisfied with the house. The owner responsibilities, as detailed in their contract, are not to be taken lightly, especially for a layperson. They require a lot of time and work, but if you are organized and committed, it's doable. We had a few hiccups along the way, as with any big construction project, and usually had to initiate communication to get updates. Our Project Manager, Rudy, was committed to our satisfaction, and made sure that every item and last detail on the punchlist was addressed. We decided to build HiLine’s 1780 Home Plan. We were familiar with the process and the owners responsibility’s were easy to navigate. Team HiLine, Russ, Diana and Chip helped every step of the way for a smooth transition going into the actual building phase. The building phase went smoothly with no delays despite the weather. All trades involved carried themselves in a professional respectful manner. The result was outstanding quality at an extremely high value. Our equity position was absolutely astonishing and opted to sell after two years of occupancy. The only regret we had was that we didn’t do it sooner. Our home was completed 10/2020. Since that time there have been changes in both management and personnel at the Hiline Redmond location. I’ve needed to call on them to address a couple warranty repairs and I’m very impressed with their response. Specifically, Regional Manager Brian Harding. He and his crew went above and beyond. I’ve never dealt with a contractor that was willing to go to the lengths they did to honor a warranty. I would feel confident recommending Hiline Homes Redmond to freinds and family because of Brian’s sincerity and respectful handling of my concerns. Additionally, the office staff, Dianna Hudspeth & Bria Harnden were always responsive, pleasant and on top of things which played a big part in my overall great experience with Hiline.
