I was super excited to reach out to Guild Mortgage on Monday regarding my first mortgage. They answered the phone right away and connected me to Cherie. She was pleasant and said she would be available to help me with the process. I submitted my application Monday afternoon along with bank statements. It's now Thursday afternoon. They haven't even run my credit at this point. I have called and emailed Cherie with no answer. If this is the type of communication they are providing at the beginning of the experience, I'm dreading the communication as we get further in the process. At this point, I am reaching out to a different lender.
