Heritage Village At Lawrence

Heritage Village is a nice place to live. My grandfather lives there and I visit him often. He like it, his only complaint is MAINTENANCE is HORRIBLE. If something needs fixing you better off doing it yourself. They only have 1 person (handyman), so you try and understand, yet you can't turn your rent in 3 to 4 months late. My grandfather and I both put in a maintenance request it took 3-1/2 months (no exaggeration) for the request to be taken care of. Again, nice place just pray, hope, wish nothing in your apartment breaks down.

600 families have been displaced from their property in Elizabeth due to flooding of 1st floor ONLY, 2nd floor and above has ZERO damage. No one has been allowed to return. They keep telling everyone to make appointment to go back and retreve winter cloths as its starting to get cold and no one calls us back. It been over 1 month now and the only communication is throwing letters demanding rent for a place we can even enter.

I called so many times and left messages but never ever received a response.Someone should look into this and question the people who received my messages and my letters through their web site. Where that building sits was a auto repair shop and I worked there when I came home from UNCLE SAMS vacation. Another VET screwed.

Don’t I mean don’t come to this place. Roaches ARE EVERYWHERE badly & possibly bed bugs. It’s a very DIRTY ,NASTY and unsanitary environment
