I can for sure see why this company has a 2 star overall rating . They took $500 from my deposit to fix things that they claimed they did not do when i first moved in like paining and drywallk repair. The carpet cleaning was included in my lease yet i was charged $200 for it. I have 137 photos that i took on move in day of how bad the unit was and i even waited an extra 7 days because they had to send in 3 differnent cleaners as the house was not getting properly cleaned with salt and pepper just thrown in cupboards and stuff. I could easily tell they didnt even clean the unit too by the most obvious abomonation ive seen which was just a ton of hair in the drain which almost made me throw up. Billy and Thomas are an amazing maintenance crew! They came on the same day of the request and were very freindly and fixed everything in a timely manor. Their communication was great too, overall very friendly people.

I wish I were able to give zero stars to this complete joke of a rental company. We rented 400 SW Shirley and left as soon as the lease was up. The house was absolutely DISGUSTING at move-in. Mold, water damage, horrific paint job, cracked and damaged flooring, broken windows, bugs, pubic hair in the shower, dust everywhere, broken sink faucet… the list goes on. We called as soon as we got the keys and got in and let them know about the condition of the house. The oh-so-lovely Jamie, insisted that they just had professional cleaners thoroughly clean the house. I should have asked for a receipt because that was a blatant lie. My now-wife rented 700 NE Reaney for 5 years before she moved. It was always a dump every time I went to visit, not even worth the rock bottom rent. Nothing was maintained after multiple requests, “renovations” in the bathroom caused more damage than improvement. We cleaned the place as thoroughly as possible before getting her out. Keys were dropped off promptly and forwarding address left, and final rent was fully paid. There was absolutely zero communication for 3 months after the lease expired, despite multiple follow-ups by phone, only to finally find out that not only was none of the security deposit being returned, the sleazebags are trying to charge us ($650 deposit gone plus $380 “extra”) 3 months after the lease was terminated. DONT RENT FROM Heritage Realty!!! Worse people I’ve ever dealt with!! Janie and Kevin are by far the most disgusting and dishonest people I’ve ever meet. Jamie has “off days” everyday so beware! She is extremely rude and ugly to renters. Kevin is disrespectful and dismissive, he will get angry with you if you need anything fixed or need to call them for help in any way. They drag their feet to get anything done. If they do decide to come fix anything in unit. It’s half done or not fixed. They blame tenants for pre-existing damage.
