Hawk's Landing Apartments

I honestly wouldn't recommend Hawks Landing Apartments to anyone. The management here is terrible. They couldn't seem to keep a property manager for more than a couple of months at a time. This inconsistency meant that things were always in a state of disarray, and no one ever seemed to have a clear handle on what was going on. One of the biggest issues was their complete failure to keep proper documentation of rent payments. More than once, I had to provide proof of payments when they claimed they hadn't received it — which is beyond frustrating. It's a basic part of property management, and they clearly dropped the ball. On top of that, they were extremely negligent when it came to updating leases and keeping residents informed. Terrible management my ac was not working for months and nothing was being done/couldn't reach anyone in the office. Rent goes up every year by $300 but the service just gets worse. Also had my car broke into in the parking lot and cameras do not work.

If I could give a zero star, I would. It's not low income as advertised. Your rent will increase every year when your lease is up regardless of what you make. Cannot keep a landlord or maintenance person so if you have any questions or concerns, it's nearly impossible to be able to get in contact with someone. Animals, tenants leave Animal dropping (cat little including) in the halls and it doesn't get cleaned up and it gets stepped in. People also don't pick up after their animals outside so DONT let your children run around in the grass. Guest bathrooms down stairs are almost always never cleaned and never stocked. I lived at this location for almost 4 years and it was our only option for financial reasons and while at first it wasn't bad but now it's awful and I wouldn't recommend anyon

Do not move here they have ROACH issues. We pay too much money to live here and we still have roaches!!!! We can’t have clean hallways or elevator because they don’t pay a staff to clean. We as tenants have to take it upon ourselves to clean the building. I have asked over and over again about getting things updated or fixed at this property. We have a fire hazard door on the top floor that can not be opened if we don’t keep the door propped open with a object. (Been like that for over 8 months) I am sick and tired of reaching out about replacing my smoke detector, It’s been beeping for months. We can’t keep office staff at this property so I hope there’s never an emergency because every time you call you sure can’t get anyone or get a call back. Office staff changes at least once every tw

Matthew Morris is doing an outstanding job. He is one of the best property managers that I've ever seen and met. He doesn't care about the money he makes, but the tenants and there future. For a little over a month he has been here, he goes way and beyond any expectations. I really wish higher management sees what they truly have.
