This is our second time using Hawkeye for a home inspection. Chris was extremely thorough and great at explaining things in terms we understood. He went over every detail and outlined what was urgent, what should be top of our list to do soon, and what was something to keep an eye on even if it didn't need to be addressed immediately. We felt very comfortable asking questions and would recommend Chris and Hawkeye to anyone who was looking for a home inspection.

Edit. It was not "2 months after moving in", we have not been in the house 2 months. It was less than a week after moving in when we were cleaning the tub. The assertion that we used bleach is also made up by the owner to cover their incompetence. Their inspector was the one who suggested we clean with bleach, but we never go that far because the tub was leaking as soon as we filled it and ran it. Finally, they are also refusing to provide the license number for their inspector to avoid us filing a complaint with the licensing board. Shady shady shady. These hacks are in tight with the realtors (check their site) and are looking to push through inspections with as few findings as possible to collect their fee. We got to work with Daniel on a house we purchased in Bolton, MA. Daniel was extremely knowledgable and thorough, overall a much better experience than I have had with home inspectors in the past. He made sure to explain every step of his process and give us great tips on how to go about addressing things he uncovered, as well as general home-ownership.
