Haven at Mansfield

I would like to say that the maintenance team has never disappointed me here and the groundskeeper. They are always nice welcoming and pleasant. The Maintenance man Willie is very nice and helpful. I have had just a few issues in my apartment but he fixed them very fast. My daughter’s fan went very slow and he fixed it same day, helped me with the heat, air, dishwasher, garage door. and some other minor issues. Every work order I placed it was fixed and never an issue again. Thank you Willie. For making that a breeze for me at least during my time here!

When I first moved in August 2023, everything was pretty great: no issues with the leasing agents/management, maintenance, cleanliness of buildings/property, etc. I've been here for 3 years; there will NOT be a 4th year. The management and leasing agents have changed, and they are more incompetent and frustrating with each turnover (this seems to be the story with so many apartment complexes nowadays, which is unfortunate - management can make or break your living experience - the current management at Haven at Mansfield BREAKS and fails that experience). Believe the negative reviews; the positive ones won't be for long once they see this place for what it really is. I can't wait until my lease is up. Living here has been a frustrating experience due to incompetent management! Management changes frequently, and since Greystar took over, things have gone downhill. The property rules are not enforced — residents regularly leave dog waste and trash around, and nothing is done about it. I’d like to note: My experience may not be the same experience of others. However, I have not enjoyed my residential experience at The Haven! The elevators are constantly out of order, often for weeks at a time, with no rent credit or compensation offered for the inconvenience. It’s unacceptable to pay for amenities that we can’t use. Update 3/18/25 I’ve lived here almost a year and am not renewing my lease and these are some of the reasons why. 1.) Elevators. There’s only one elevator per building, the one in building had worked less in the time I’ve lived here then it has worked. It will be down for numerous weeks at a time. During a store, our building was struck by lightning and the elevator was out for about a month, if not more. There’s was nothing given to the residents of our building for the inconvience during that time even though we received an email stating they were working on something for it. 2.) Gates. The gates are open majority of the time, especially the one near my building. I have lived at this property since 2023 and have experienced several changes in staff over time. Throughout my stay, any issues I've had was always resolved. The new office staff has been extremely helpful since they started. I had a referral that was previously not submitted by the former staff, it was explained to me, but with patience, the new team resolved the issue and I received my referral. I appreciate their commitment to solving problems left behind and am grateful for their great service. Thank you! I can honestly see the changes.
