Harrison Urby Apartments

This is about their furnished short-term apartments - DO NOT GO. DIRTY (ANTS, FECES IN THE LAUNDRY, BOOGER ON THE PILLOW), NOT MAINTAINED (HEATING BROKEN, NO HOT WATER) AND EXTREMELY LOUD IF YOU STAY ON THE GROUND FLOOR (TRAFFIC, PEOPLE WALKING STRAIGHT BY YOUR WINDOW) I stayed at one of their furnished apartments a few weeks ago earlier this year. It was horrible and absolutely not worth the money. There were ants in the kitchen (see photo). I had feces stuck on my clothes after I had put them in the laundry machine. The view you get if you are unlucky to get a room at the back of the building is the trash collection site (see photo) and an abandoned industrial complex. This place first popped on my radar in 2021. I was intrigued by its proximity to PATH & wanted to be in a building that tried hard to create community. Eventually, in 2025, I signed a 13mo lease. It’s definitely a nice place to live. Good gym, scenic walking spaces. The common areas are well-maintained. That said, is it worth $2.5K to live 30+ minutes outside of Manhattan in a tiny 1bedroom? Not really, but there are no other options 🤷‍♂️

We’ve been living at Harrison Urby for about a month and it’s been a great experience. The building is very complete, with excellent amenities like a gym, coworking spaces, and common areas that make it easy to work from home, get out of the apartment, and connect with others. The apartment itself, even as a one-bedroom, is very well laid out and comes with full amenities — fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and washer — making it very complete for the price. It’s very community-oriented, and everyone we’ve met has had great things to say about living here. The location is excellent — just five minutes from the PATH, one station from Newark Penn Station (with trains to New Jersey, Washington, and the airport), about 20 minutes to the World Trade Center, and very close to malls, parks,

I’ve been living in Harrison Urby for 1+ years and renewed my lease. The management team is a great plus. Shout out to David who is always very professional, efficient, and respectful. He recently came and helped me with multiple of my open maintenance requests at once. He’s very into details and helpful. Also shout out to Hector who is also very professional and helpful. The entire maintenance team here is awesome.

I recently stayed at Harrison Urby through Airbnb and immediately fell in love with both the apartment and the exceptional level of professional service. The management team truly goes above and beyond to make this feel like a community rather than just a building. I want to give a special shout-out to Jordan, John, Sarah, and David. From my very first interaction, they were incredibly helpful, patient with my questions, and... most importantly... extremely responsive. It was their hospitality and the seamless experience they provided that made my decision to transition from a temporary guest to a permanent resident so easy. I'm thrilled to now call Urby my home! Thank you to the entire team for making my stay feel like home from day one.
