Good luck getting your security deposit returned! We have always gotten our security deposits back , and take responsibility for any damage. But we were charged for painting (including the ceiling), replacing toilet seats, and $250 for “cleaning”, and replacing sections of flooring throughout the apartment. Can’t imagine a poorer business model! Take the time to scan the numerous reviews before renting from happy homes
Had a cleaning company clean our duplex when we left to make sure it was spotless and could get our deposit back. PLACE WAS SPOTLESS. they said everything needed more cleaning and kept the deposit. Very fishy company!!!
