Hale Kaloko has been a perfect first home for us. Carlos made the moving in & out process so easy. The newer refurbished units are bright & clean, with everything you need to live simply. Cool elevation year-round and some of the best sunset views! We will miss living at Hale Kaloko.

If you have pets, you probably know how HARD it is to find a place in Kailua Kona that will allow even 1 tiny animal. Well, Hale Kaloko is super pet friendly. It’s absolutely awesome if you’re an animal lover and want neighbors that are cool with your pets. My wife and I absolutely love living here. We’ve been here 2yrs now and have no intentions of leaving for the foreseeable future. Carlos runs this place incredibly well. Landscaping is kept up weekly and always looks beautiful. There are banana and avocados trees and various palms everywhere. Last year over a weekend our oven stopped working and on Monday morning they had Lowe’s installing a brand new one. 😁 Then recently the water heater stopped and I contacted Carlos and literally in 7minutes, a maintenance guy was downstairs fixing

Aloha! We previously lived at Hale Kaloko and enjoyed our time their. The community offers spectacular ocean views throughout. I loved the convenient distance to town. I was lucky to live in a building with all great neighbors. Carlos, the Property Manager is great! He is very welcoming and attentive. Carlos made sure that any concerns we had were addressed immediately. The only reason why we moved was because we needed more space, otherwise we would still be living here. Hale Kaloko is a great place to call home.

I’ve lived here for going on two years and I can’t say enough great things about Hale Koloko, genuinely. The panoramic views are absolutely breathtaking and I’ve seen some of the best sunsets in my life right from my unit. The cool elevation gives the entire property a refreshing breeze. The units have, efficient layouts that maximize space. Plus, it’s dog-friendly, which is a huge bonus for pet owners especially in Hawaii. The property is beautifully maintained, and the staff here is exceptional. Carlos, the property manager, is amazing and is extremely responsive. Whether it’s a question or a request, he always gets back to you quickly and goes above and beyond to ensure everything is taken care of. I'm going to be a little biased and give this place a 5 star review and address a couple of things here. 1) New Ownership since early 2017 2) one of the negative reviews on here mention a variety of safety issues, did these safety issues happen over night? There's always an adjustment period when new owners arrive. In my experience most who leave negative reviews after an ownership change is because they were asked to move for problems they were causing on the property. 3) Changes that have been made: a. Walkways/steps for the buildings b. Gazebos/BBQ Areas have been added c. maintenance issues typically get taken care of in the first 24hrs d. 2 onsite managers and onsite staff 4) Mold- Mold is everywhere, it grows everywhere.
