I rented a townhouse in Hesperia from this company for 7 years. The office staff was professional and promptly responded to all my maintenance requests. Upon moving out they even returned most of my security deposit, which I've found to be a rarity when renting in California:)

Friendly staff at first but different attitude once renting with them. We did not get an option to renew our lease. We understand the fact that they don’t have to advise the reason as to why they are not giving us a option to renew the lease. But what they don’t understand is that I just had a baby on 9-24-18 from an emergency c section and got home to find a paper on 9-27-18 on our door that we need to move out within 30 days. We have paid the rent on time always. They receive our payments 3-4 days before the 1st of the month to post it. The first time we sent the check, we had to call them to ask if they received it and come to find out they didn’t even have an invoice created, the lady in charge of posting the rents just got back from a vacation and was not up to date with anything. Me and my fiancé rented here in the Rancho Cucamonga units for two years. When we first moved in H&S staff was extremely friendly and helpful. However, once we gave our 30 day notice we noticed that changed instantly. We paid $900 for our deposit and a $500 pet deposit. When we first moved in Jaime had told us the longer you live here the less we charge you for damage for the unit because we count it as “wear and tear” .. well that was a lie . Once we gave our notice we called a week after asking if they had done an inspection on the unit, we spoke to shanon who was extremely disrespectful and basically stated don’t bother calling until after 21 days. We rented here for two and a half years. The carpets were never replaced before we moved in but we were charged for new when we moved out. I had to make door repairs in the bathroom 5 times because it fell off the hinges and the door jams were coming apart. The Bathroom sinks had leaks and i had clogging issues constantly with them due to the peatraps never being cleaned. Whenever I complained to have an issue fixed they wrote up a work order but the job never got fixed so I had to do it. The Dishwasher was never mounted properly so in the whole 2 years we were there we never used it once. The one time I tried to turn it on the plumming was backed up so it overflowed the sink. I agree with one of the previous posters not professional at all and acted snobby. I called to check on one of the orangewood rentals they have and when I asked how they calculate income with everyone being furloughed from covid 19 their answer was well not everyone was furloughed I still here making money so not everyone was. I explained I am my pay fluctuates as I am 1099 but I usually make around 75k per year. I have never had someone be that condescending when tryingt explain that I usually use my tax information to report my income. They asked if I was on unemployment and I said yes for that time I am back at the same company now. They said great use that. I guess they don't know that unemployment does not pay fully what you make it has a cap. The cap is about 1/6 of what I make. If
