Grand Home Inspection

The inspector failed to report that there was a lead service line. They reported what all the other pipes were made from. When I complained, this is their answer: "Grand Home Inspection follows the InterNACHI Standards of Practice for all inspections. These standards were included in the inspection agreement and linked in your inspection materials. Under this standard, inspections are visual and non-invasive. "I understand why identifying a lead service line is important, and I hear your concern. Lead pipe confirmation, however, is not part of the published scope of work for standard home inspections. It requires specialized testing or verification through the local water authority, which falls outside the SOP we are obligated to follow." This is absolutely absurd. A plumber identified
