Governors Court Apartments

This is my second time living at Governor’s Court Apartments. I lived here once back between 2013-2015. I love the layout of the apartments, the property it’s on, and its location in town. I knew I wanted to live here again when I found myself needing a new living arrangement. I moved back to Governor’s Court Apartments in May 2022. Huntington Apartment Homes took over management within a few months and have made many improvements. Amanda, the property manager, is incredibly kind and helpful. I love it here so much that I plan on staying here for as long as I can.

I have lived at Governors Court apartments for a little over a year now. Since Huntington has taken over management everything has been better. Any maintenance requests put in are addressed in a timely manner, the property manager has been easy to reach if needed, she is understanding and prompt in responding.

Highly recommend living here. My boyfriend and I have been living here for a year and a half now. We never had any issues. Amanda is super nice and helpful. This place had huge improvement since we’ve been here.

Renter beware: Basic facts: usually require a year lease; allow dogs; all are 2 bed and 1 bath and 1000 sf. Two floors, and internal corridors. Pest control (which in my case was mostly ineffective) is included, as is water and free expanded cable. There are many dogs in the complex, and no one (except me) EVER cleans up after them. Many people also smoke, although most smoke outside. I'm giving it 2 stars for the great maintenance crew, good trash pick up, overall value and location. I lived here from July 9-September 23, 2016. Before I moved in I was told about a roach problem the people before me had. I was assured that pest control was on it, and it might "take a little while", a week or so, until it was solved.
