Goldstone Place Apartments

horrible place. we just recently had a pretty decent sized fire in building J. things charred, and destroyed. we were told we could get placed in a different unit in a different building until they fix everything that was destroyed in this fire, but they’re not going through with it. we were told it was safe to come back and live in the unit, but is this safe??? (refer to photos posted) this is not safe. this is hazardous. it smells like smoke so bad our lungs and eyes hurt. they’re keeping us here just for their benefit to get rent. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

They very well may be changing but speaking from personal experience the quality in these apartments have gone down hill. Outdated appliances, questionable characters occupying apartments, dog shit everywhere, heat rarely works and is operating via a boiler that’s outdated, old swamp coolers, just everything about this place is questionable. Management seems to have changed again and while I want to assume positive intent and positive change I do not trust them. Especially when they try to get you to sign a document to release them of any accountability, and are given the constant run around. Don’t even get me started on communication.

I moved in these Apartments in August and moved out in December. They refuse to fix anything in the apartment I had or even send anyone up to look at the issues I had. Getting ppl in office to pick up the phone was a huge pain. Everyday I walked into an apartment between 90-100 degrees and I never ran the heater one time. No one someone should have to run the AC during the winter. I spoke with my neighbor next door if they had issues and she said “YES” the heat was an issue and took them 8 months to do anything bout it. Exercise room was outdated with no weights to use. Pool area was fine being year round, except they never cared bout fixing the jacuzzi and kept changing the close time. Ppl never cleaned up after their pets, so dog crap everywhere you walk. They didn’t care to enforce the

I have been living at Goldstone Place for roughly four years now, and it has been a great experience overall. Jasmine and Donna have been extremely understanding, respectful, and supportive of my situation, which has made a real difference in my time here. The units are in good condition, and the heated floors are by far one of the best features—especially during the winter months. Maintenance requests have always been handled in a timely manner, and the property is kept clean and well cared for. The community itself feels safe and welcoming, and I’ve appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the management team throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend Goldstone Place to anyone looking for a comfortable home with a supportive management staff.

To put it nicely rent is ridiculous. Me and my wife were first hooked on the the place because it’s listed $1049 online and then we were told that rent would not be more than 1350 to then find out that we are paying close to 1600 every month. Next when you have a problem with something maintenance never comes by. Me and my wife would be in the leasing office almost everyday with the same problem just to be told the same thing that they will be down there that day to fix it. This particular experience is heating, we haves lived here for less then 4 months and we never got our heating fixed just to be left with the solution of a space heater. (Me and my wife already have two) Needless to say maintenance takes there sweet time to get to places.
