After a sprinkler system broke in a unit two floors above us, our studio flooded through the front and back doors, patio, wall sockets, water heater, electrical panel, and even the bathroom cabinet. What followed was chaos. Maintenance came in, cut open multiple parts of our walls, left loud industrial equipment in the middle of our unit for days, and told us to keep our AC running to support their machines causing a huge spike in our electricity bill, which they refused to reimburse. New apartment cheap materialI’m so ready to get out the lease and I haven’t even moved in yet. (Ferrante Apartments) Flooding & constant facility shutdowns The day I moved in, there was a major flood that shut down the basketball and pickleball courts for months.
