Since last summer I had multiple leaks in my roof and maintenance had to fix it which is no problem. However, this last time I had a leak in my closet which got all over my personal items and absolutely ruined a pair of jeans worth around $50 with mildew. So I asked the office if I could be compensated for it which the lady said they would not be able to and that I could dry clean the clothes which still costs money and takes time. Furthermore, a year prior to all this they roomed me with a person with past criminal charges who ended up getting arrested and I was awoken by police with guns drawn in my own apartment. After all this happened the head manager lady just asked me if I wanted to change rooms all so they could have an empty unit. So if your personal items are damaged by them or e

Unresolved Maintenance Issues and Poor Management Communication My experience at Gamecock Village has been very disappointing due to a number of ongoing issues that remain unaddressed despite multiple attempts to contact management. One of the most concerning issues is the pool, which is inexplicably closed on weekends — the time when most residents would be able to use it. Additionally, residents are charged monthly for electricity “overages,” even when individual usage has not noticeably increased. The central HVAC units appear to be outdated and inefficient, likely contributing to the excessive utility costs. Equally frustrating is the lack of responsiveness from both the office and property management teams. Phone calls frequently go unanswered, and emails often receive no reply. Ma

Was sleeping basically naked… maintenance guy burst into my apartment with no warning snd fixed the problem right next to mine and my girlfriend’s unconscious naked bodies and when my girlfriend slightly woke up he said “Good-morning “ like BRO HUGE INVASION OF PRIVACY why do they not care every other appt has a way to make sure they don’t invade your personal space y'all should too Especially with the extraordinary rent y'all charge. it may say 650 but i pay 800 a month. and even then I still have unresolved maintenance issues like one of our toilets will not flush and the maintenance guy has looked at it 3 times also the plumbing in the bathrooms is lacking my tub barely drains while my girlfriends leaks into the floor somehow… i pay too much for there to be any issues… and that is ju

Tanning bed has been broken since I’ve moved in, pool can’t be accessed on weekends, apartment isn’t up to code, vehicle has been vandalized more than once and we had to get rid of our dog that was sweet natured just because he was a Rottweiler. Other than that the staff is great! I recently lost my job and still trying to find another one and they have worked with us a lot. I’m still worried that we may lose our apartment. I will get a job soon I pray and hopefully I can pull myself out of this mess. I can deal with everything else to have a home. So thank you!

I’ve had a good experience so far, it would be nice if there were a way to make it to where we can have an actual key for the place instead of relying on our phones, but other than that, things are good. The maintenance team is amazing.
