For the last several years, we've been having some issues with our home that we rent from G Stiles. With renting an apartment, usually the landlord will take steps to ensure their rental property and paying tennant is cared for properly. I feel that this is not the case. To start, the outdoor landscaping is in poor shape and there is tons of garbage around. Heaps of overgrown shrubbery and tree limbs hanging very low and we often need to either duck under or watch our steps very closely. When it comes to the garbage we pick it up as we see it, but it has been getting out of hand. The old landlord before G Stiles used to have maintenance employees to take care of the property and unfortunately that has not happened since the new property owners took over. Careful working with Gstiles. They ended our lease when it was up and told us multiple times that it was because the owner was no longer working with them. They lied. We ended up having to move in with family because the rental market is very difficult right now. They just reposted the house for rent and are now saying that they felt our family was too large for the house and the owner prefers families with no children. We were never late on rent as we paid the whole year up front, took good care of the place and got back almost our entire deposit. You can do everything right and they’ll turn around and make you leave due to family size even though they knew when we moved in we had two kids and one on the way. Agents represented both sides of the sale without telling the seller thus manipulating the price in favor of one or the other of their choice. All based on discrimination. I call it an unfair practice, misleading, and a violation of trust.
