Never worked with such a degrading property management company, but then again I should've known better after attempting to contact Justin months ago about purchasing a house and all I could get was automated messages. Bought my acreage on CFD in 2018, paid it off in 2023 and they don't think I have the money to finish out someone's 6 month lease which is forcing them to go in debt paying for an empty house. Even the current tenant can't understand why they won't rent it to me if they are assuming full responsibility. Meanwhile, I could pay 6 months at once but they want to see my financials. Only reason I looked at renting is so I can get my special needs child into school in Brookings with his siblings. We recently had the pleasure of renting a property managed by Fjeldos Property Management, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Justin and Paul were professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout my entire tenancy. From the initial viewing to the move-in process, everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. The apartments are kept up. Mowing on the other hand needs improvement as they mow maybe once every other week. This allows mosquitoes to nest in the yard and you can't walk out side with out being swarmed by them.

Fjeldos was by far the best renting experience I had while in Brookings. Paul Green was a pleasure to work with and always made himself available for questions. If I ever find myself moving back to the area I will most certainly be contacting Fjeldos first!
